Peth Fort – 01.08.2010

AbhiShri | | Sunday, August 1st, 2010

It was way back in Oct 2008, that I did my last trek (Harishchandragad – along with Shishir on Diwali day of 2008) and hence, I was more than just happy when I was asked by BNHS (Bombay Natural History Society) to lead their trek to Peth fort on Aug 1st. I was desperately waiting for a trek and this gave me a chance to put an end to a lonnnnnng gap.  Heavy rain over the last 2 days, though intimidated us for a while, couldn’t stop us from having a great time at Peth Fort. Weather was just the perfect with intermittent showers and cool breeze. It was a great experience to be with BNHS trek members and Mr. Vithoba Hegde (co-group leader) … his experience & knowledge about plants was impressive!

  9. You have photgraphed the essence of the monsson treks with the wide lush landscapes and trekkers – tempting others to go on similar treks.
