  1. I know Abhijit almost since March 2008… we were togather on a Flamingo watching trip. It was Tushar Nidambur who introduced me to Abhijit. And since then have been regularly going for bird watching trips with him.
He is great enthusiast person… give him a break from office and you will find him busy with some extracurricular activity… (mostly birding and astronomy). I have seen him running behind the Indian Bustards with his tripod mounted camera on shoulder for almost half a kilometer. What more to say… very good person at heart, a good photographer and a good friend!
I am putting these comments on your own site and it is certainly not to praise you… it only tells something about you… so ugach harbharyachya zadavar chadhu nakos. You are good the way you are.

  2. I like the whole site and its contents, congratulations
I am little jealous on your current equipments
Would like to know the softwares used by you for post process.

    Thank you

BTW, (Home and About page) why the lens hood still in reverse, and a flashgun for tele-zoom ?

  3. Hi Sasidharan,

Thnx. Lens hood was nt ON because friend took d photo before we actually got on to work :-). Flash was needed to “fill in” – weathr was cloudy.

I use Adobe Photoshop CS3…just using the basics though, of this fantastic software.

    Thanks again!

  7. Dear Abhijit,

It’s a wonderful site to visit and I expect to see more and more of your work here.

As you must be aware, our Gandhari visit in March 2009 can be called , my first birding experience with passionate birders like you and Rakesh. The evergrwoing interest in birds and – as an unavoidable consequence – in all that comes across in nature, owes a lot to that Gandhari trip and ultimately to you 🙂

Wish you all the best for your site (though not new now) and new equipment.

p.s. I can see many intersting additions like your favourite songs ………..

    Santosh.
