Jamnagar birding

AbhiShri | | Thursday, February 2nd, 2012

Gujarat – apart from food loving people, fast growing industrial state – is also known for some amazing birding locations. Nalsarovar, Thol Sanctuary, Little & Great Rann of Kutch are just to  name a few. Jamnagar, for many, would possibly mean a industrial area dominated by Reliance group. For we nature enthusiasts though, its a place for easy  birding opportunities. I happened to visit this beautiful place along with my family.

Date – 20th Jan to 24th Jan 2012

Minimum temp – 16 Deg

Places visited – Narara beach(60km) , Balachhadi (25 km), Dhichda (10 km), Khijadia sanctuary (15 km), Lakhota lake (in the heart of the city)
